An Exceptional Graduation at Tarsus SEV
Tarsus SEV students graduating from grade 8 shared the excitement of entering a new phase in their lives with their teachers and families. The graduation ceremony which took place in Tarsus SEV campus saw the attendance of Headmaster Mr. Leathwood, Tarsus SEV Middle School Principal Ms. Pelin Çağlayan, 1981 TAC graduate Prof. Dr. Emre Toğrul and TAC Alumni Association President Dr. Ali Cerrahoğlu.
In her remarks, Principal Çağlayan reminded the parents that the graduating class was raised with the SEV tradition and culture of one and half centuries. They were raised as young adults interested in scientific thought and arts. Çağlayan wished them good luck in the next chapter of their lives.
Students completing the middle school education shared their joy of graduation by throwing their caps. They fcontinued celebrating at the graduation ball on the evening of June 11 at Mersin Hilton Hotel, organized by the Tarsus SEV PTA and attended by students, families, school administrators and teachers.
