On March 14th, Pi Day, a Math and Science festival was held at Tarsus SEV Middle School. 5 students from each grade joined the SEV MATH competition organized by Tarsus, İzmir and Üsküdar SEV Schools. Our 5th, 6th and 7th grade students played some Math and Science games ranging from Sevvivor, Fencera, Just Guess, Bus Stop 3.14, Da Vinci Bridge, STEM, Bingo to Jeopardy and had fun after Prof. Dr. Gonca Ayık’s presentation about the history of math and pi. They celebrated Pi day through the games they played and they used their knowledge while playing these games.
