We organized a vertically aligned curriculum workshop to reach academic excellence with the primary school 4th grade teachers’, 5th-8th social studies teachers’, 9th-12th history and geography teachers’ participation. The workshop started with the comparison of the school mission and vision with social studies curriculum and continued with the presentation of the expectations of the grade levels from each other. The meeting proceeded with the exchange of ideas to form a better vertically aligned curriculum. The meeting went very well and was fruitful thanks to new ideas and shared experiences.
