Our 6 grade students conducted a study to discover different cells with the help of light microscopes in their Science lessons. In this study, our students examined bacteria, amoeba, euglena and paramecium among unicellular and leaf cells, onion skin cells, human red blood cells and human muscle cells among multicellular. They then drew and coloured the images they saw under the microscope. Seeing the various real cell types under a microscope provided the students with a wonderful learning opportunity.
