The general objective of the Religion and Ethics lesson is to provide the foundation about religion, Islam and ethics in line with the general principles of the Turkish National Education Policy and the secularism principle of Ataturk; thereby promoting Ataturk ideals, national unity, love for humanity, student's moral and religious development  and raising citizens with a good moral character.
