The objectives of the program is to impart the following knowledge and skills, 

• Ability to use arts as a visual communication tool. 
• To acquire the skills of artistic expression, and to develop the existing one 
• To acquire the skills of creative thinking, production and experimentation 
• To develop skills of stylistic expression. The artwork of students are evaluated with the consideration of originality, power of expression, the ability to use materials, interest in the artistic process, and their general development.

The mission of the visual arts department emphasizes student's individual development and a process-based evaluation. The teaching and learning process is based on the motivation-building attitudes which help develop the rich imagination of students from a very early age. 

The art products and projects of students are displayed in various parts of the school.
