The services of the Tarsus SEV Counseling Department are governed by the Ministry of Education regulations on Counseling and Psychological Guidance as well as the principles outlined in the school's goals statement. The academic, personal and social services offered by the department are: 

• Individual counseling, 
• Group counseling,
• Trips 
• Parent-teacher conferences, 
• Planning and implementation of counseling (homeroom) periods, 
• Administration of tests, inventories and surveys. 
 

Current research on child psychology are significant sources of information for guidance counselors. The counseling staff keep abreast of the latest development and research in this field via active use of IT tools.

All activities of the counseling department are conducted with the cooperation of school administration, teachers and families, and are based on the principle of confidentiality and voluntary participation.
