The music program in kindergarten both supports the cognitive, linguistic, motor, social and emotional development of students and positively influences the musical development process. The activities in the music lesson include listening to sounds and music and learning to differentiate sounds, rhythm activities, breathing and vocalization, singing, playing an instrument, creative movement and dance, and movement accompanied by music.

Through music activities, understanding of many concepts including treble-bass, fast-slow beat, long-short are imparted in students. The education with orff instruments starts in kindergarten. It also imparts the hand-eye coordination and the skill of using both hands simultaneously by playing simple percussion instruments.
