Drama is a process where imagination turns to action. In this process, the participant uses representation/personalization through empathy. This personalization produces meaning through making connections with the outside world. This dramatic act finds its place in education with child games, improvisation and role play (Courtney, 1980). Through drama, students are involved in a process which focuses on dramatic experience and participation. The main characteristics of this process are self-perception and perception of the world. Drama is a field based on education, arts, and culture.
