Tarsus SEV Primary School’s English Department Head, Aylin Mahmutluoğlu, participated in a study visit named DiaLingua (Dialogue for Better Teaching Methods in Foreign Language Education at Early Ages and Teenage) which was conducted in Finland, between the dates 26th–31st August 2019.The programme was led by TOZOK (Private Schools Association of Turkey) in partnership with ECNAIS (European Council of National Associations of Independent Schools). The Head of the English Department had the opportunity to visit five different schools to observe classes which was followed by group discussions with the teachers about the school system. A final group discussion was held on the last day with teachers from each school visited.  The Finland education system as a whole was discussed.  It was a productive experience for both the Turkish and the Finnish teachers.
