The Winter Festival, which was prepared by the Foreign Languages Department, was celebrated on the 29th of December.  The students had great fun participating in games organised and prepared by the English teachers especially for this event.  The games included throwing snowballs through the holes in the big snowman, racing with blocks on their feet, bowling with snowballs and penguin pins and doing the New Year limbo.  In the auditorium the students got the chance to play Jeopardy.  In each grade level the classes competed against each other with their general knowledge.  The winning classes received one day free uniform. The school choir then sang some traditional New Year songs which brightened up the atmosphere.  The auditorium show was concluded with a wonderfully prepared play that was written, directed and performed by the English teachers, about Santa’s stolen sack
