We all want to belong somewhere. Children feel such a sense of belonging with not only their families, but the other environments which they are a part of. The school environment should radiate this energy so that the individual student can connect easily with his/her peers, and feel this sense of belonging to the group.

In modern day, school is the most ideal place to be prepared for the future, to maintain a good life, and for socialization, any problems in the adaptation to the school environment would pose a psychological setback as well as an academic one. For this reason, we take the "first day in the new school" very seriously.

On this first day, the new environment, new friendships, new teachers and new learning may be a source of some concern. In order to reduce this concern, kindergarten and grade 1 classes are involved in an orientation program.

The new student orientation program with the kindergarten and grade 1 students consists of various activities which help the students to get to know their teachers, the academic program and the school facilities.

Regarding transfer students, there are seperate orientation sessions with the parent and the student.
