In philosophy club with 5th graders, we have studied topics about empty rhetoric (logical mistakes), correct thinking and research techniques, as well as the Cornell Method of note-taking techniques and summarisation. Students prepare presentations about these topics and share them in club hours with their friends. We debated philosophy and its main problems After reading Roger-Pol Droit’s “La Philosophie Explique a Ma Fille” (I’m Teaching my Daughter Philosophy), we debated philosophy and its main problems. By doing this, we are demonstrating our thoughtfulness.
