The Ukulele is an instrument belonging to the stringed instrument family, which means ‘jumping fleas’ in the Hawaiian language. The ukulele, a four-stringed instrument, is often abbreviated as uke. The ukulele is one of the most frequently used instruments in current popular music. We examined this fun instrument with our kindergarten and 1st grade students. We now get to know this delightful instrument with the lessons we teach with Ezo Sunal's "Hello" song and live performances.
