Kindergarten and 1st grade students had fun and relaxed with the “Green Microphone” activity during the Guidance hour. What is the "Green Microphone"? First, it is aimed to develop the body control skills of the students with the Stop-Move instructions. Then, children who introduce themselves to the green microphone and share their feelings at that moment, thus provide both body affirmation and emotion transfer. The activity we did with the active participation of all our students was very enjoyable.
Grades 1, 2, 3 and 4 learned relaxation techniques with different meditative activities each week with our Counselors. Our practices, which aim to maintain ‘well-being’ were divided into sections; meditation, mindfulness and breathing exercises. Within the scope of these studies; we listened to our souls with a story in the meditation group, relaxed with the "Calm like a Frog" passage in the Mindfulness group, and in the Breathing Exercises group, we learned the techniques "Abdominal Breathing" and "Equal Breathing" and tried to breathe in the correct manner.
