As part of our bilingual program, we conducted an interdisciplinary study with our 4th grade students in English and Visual Arts classes. Our study aims to support our students' multi-dimensional thinking and learning skills, and to look at issues from different perspectives. Our students, who conducted joint and complementary studies in Visual Arts and English lessons with the subject title "What is the purpose of Art?", developed their language skills and vocabulary by using the art terms in the in the English lessons. Our students, who had the opportunity to learn about the life of the famous painter Frida Kahlo through the video prepared in our E-Learning Studio, visited Frida Kahlo's "La Casa Azul" "Blue House", which was transformed into a museum in the English lessons. After the museum tour, our students, who made beautiful Kahlo portraits, completed their tour experience with an "Exit Ticket".
