Within the scope of the Zero Waste Education Project, various studies have been carried out in order to introduce the concept of "zero waste" to our first grade students, to increase their awareness of how to reduce waste in their daily lives, how to consume less and how to use them in different ways. These studies started primarily from homes. Our students, who reviewed what we did at home with a zero waste checklist, created ideas with their friends by evaluating what could be done about those items not completed on the list. Thus, while the awareness of the students on this issue was increased, activities were made more functional according to the interdisciplinary working principle. The activity was ended with the story that the students formed with visuals based on the clothes they had worn.
