The Winter Festival, which was prepared by the English Department, was celebrated on the 27th of December.  The students had great fun participating in games organised and prepared by the English teachers especially for this event.  The games included throwing snowballs through the holes in the big Santa, racing with blocks on their feet, bowling with snowballs and penguin pins and snowball tic-tac-toe.

In the auditorium the students got the chance to play Jeopardy.  In each grade level the classes competed against each other with their general knowledge in English. The school choir then sang some traditional New Year songs which brightened up the atmosphere.  The auditorium show was concluded with a wonderfully prepared play that was written, directed and performed by the English teachers, about Santa and the Seven Dwarfs.

Grades K-4 students thoroughly enjoyed themselves in this action packed Winter Festival and were upset that it had to come to an end.
