19th of May is not just for the youth, it is a day that changed the Turkish history.  Today is the day where Ataturk started a resistance in Samsun against the enemy that had occupied all corners of Turkey.  It is the day which the Turkish land was saved and the Turkish rescued from poverty. As Tarsus SEV Middle School we have celebrated this important day with enthusiasm and joy.Tarsus SEV orchestra performed popular songs which was followed by the Fashion Design Club students who presented their creative and colorful designs which were prepared by them throughout the year. Our school Principal Ayfer Aydın, gave her speech about the meaning and importance of this day and reminded to follow Ataturk’s lead.With the hope that Turkey will remain strong and free forever we celebrate 19th May Youth and Sports Day.
