Maker Movement is a rapidly expanding movement in the world that is a combination of technology and "do it yourself" cultures. The "SEV Maker Fair" we have organized and hosted for the first time this year, aiming for creativity and productivity, was held on May 13th. It started in the auditorium, with our school principal, Çiğdem Özyürekoğlu’s speech. Our Computer Science Teacher Mustafa Uzunağaç, who had put forward the idea, gave information about the Maker Movement and the flow of the day with the Classroom Teacher Özlem Uzunağaç. There were 12 stands and 22 workshops in the fair which started after all the information was given.  Everything about production, 3D printers, airplane prototypes, Arduino, Littlebits (like electronic circuits and components), computer software, using electronic circuit, soldering, woodwork, etc. Our students made workshops for their parents and they introduced and put together Maker products that they had done throughout the year with their parents. It was a very different experience for our students and their parents. This was the first attempt. It was successful and enjoyable. Thanks to this activity, our parents paved the way to becoming "Maker Parents.” At the end of the day, a "Participation Certificate" was presented to our parents for attending the workshop. The happiness of our students was clear in their eyes. Organizing such a fair for us was a very different, useful, and prideful experience.
