During the weekend of March 3-5, the Tarsus SEV JMUN club attended the annual JMUN conference hosted by Üsküdar SEV. The conference’s theme was again, Sustainable Development, based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals adopted in September 2015. Student delegates represented the country of Greece on committees such as Human Rights, Political, ECOSOC, Environmental, Disarmament, and Health. Within these committees, delegates prepared proposals acknowledging world-wide issues along with solutions and presented them during the conference. The success of our Tarsus SEV JMUN students was evident in their participation through presentation of proposals, and speaking before their committees. Congratulations!
