The first book extravaganza  named ‘Books are alive!’ was held at Tarsus Sev Elementary school as a part of the library week celebrations.

The students role played the characters of the books to put the emphasis on the importance of reading . Besides role–playing the characters , they also reviewed the books that they presented. The presentations were to motivate them to read books by provoking and sparking their interest. They ended the presentations by singing a song related to books.

On the same day our students visited our sister school , Sakarya Primary School, to present their books  and also help them motivate to read more. They also gave them books as gifts to fulfill their social responsibilities.

The sister school students watched the presetations with great amusement and stated that they enjoyed welcoming Tarsus Sev students and also  watching the book presentations.

The students have become more interested in reading due to this great project.
