Authors are at School
Annual author visits within the book fair activities are once again held at our school between 11-15th of January, 2015. A week before their visit to our school, selected authors’ books are sold on stands at school and our students had the chance to buy age appropriate books from these stands. A week later, our school hosted children’s books authors such as “Burcu YILMAZ, Fatih ERDOĞAN, İlkay MARANGOZ, David SİMSON, Nilay YILMAZ”.
The students had great time, finding the chance to meet with the writers of the books that they have read. During the workshops, the students have met, discussed and worked on writing projects to develop their creativity and imagination. Each student has presented his/her project. The authors enjoyed the rich imagination and expression, self-confidence and sophisticated perspectives of our students. We were proud with our students as well. After the workshops, the authors signed their autographs and we completed our activities thanking them.
